1. Data Collection and Usage

PaSS is designed to respect your privacy.

The core functionality of the app (processing your rules, contacts, call info, calendar, and network state) happens entirely on your device.

  • No Personal Data is Collected: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, contact lists, calendar events, or call logs. Your rules are stored only on your phone and are never sent to any server.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: Since we do not collect your data, we do not share it with any third parties.
  • No Analytics: The app does not contain any third-party analytics or tracking code.

2. Google Drive Backup

If you turn on the automatic Google Drive Backup, the app safely saves a backup of your rules, call history, spam lists, and settings in a hidden folder (app data) within your own Google Drive account. This folder is not visible among your standard Drive files. We do not collect or process this data, and we never have access to it. These backups are solely there so you can easily restore your data, and you stay completely in control. You can delete the backup at any time through your Google Drive settings (‘Manage Apps’).

3. Required Permissions Explained

To work correctly, PaSS requires the following permissions. The app uses these only for the features described below.

  1. Standard Permissions (Contacts, Phone State, Call History)
    Needed to read your SIM status, access your contacts (to match with your rules), and read your call history. This data is only read locally on your device and never transmitted.
  2. Call Redirection App
    This is the core feature. It allows PaSS to intercept outgoing calls *before* they are placed to check your rules and apply changes.
  3. Display Over Other Apps
    Required for showing the SIM selection pop-up and displaying notifications.
  4. Calendar & Network State (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth)
    Required to apply environment-based rules (e.g., muting calls during a scheduled meeting, or switching SIMs when connected to a specific Wi-Fi network or car Bluetooth). This data is only checked locally.
